The case of this tragic toddler's death serves as a reminder to us all about the importance of safety and being mindful. With that responsibility should come understanding from rental owners regarding the implications on their end, both legal and otherwise. Although no amount of assertive measures can do justice to the tragedy that has befallen this family, hopefully, it will create awareness of how such a devastating event could have been avoided.
